Welcome to The Perrysburg podcast episode 8! This is an informational podcast for prospective, new, and current Perrysburg, Ohio residents. We talk about what makes Perrysburg great and why people like to live here.

The Annual Homecoming Festival is one of Perrysburg’s annual community events.  When I first moved to town, it was called Harrison Rally Day.  2023 marks the 2nd Annual Homecoming Festival.  (2nd year with the new name.)

The Perrysburg Messenger Journal (“The PMJ”) is our local newspaper.  The PMJ published a Supplement about the Homecoming Festival in this weeks’ edition (Sept 13, 2023 edition).  Excellent info inside!  Good job, PMJ!  In the supplement to the PMJ, you will see maps, lists of activities, times of events, and more.

Thank you to the sponsors and leaders who make the Homecoming Festival possible!  You do a great job, and my family and I enjoy the festival.

The parade starts at 10:00 AM from the corner of Louisiana Ave and 5th Street.  Kids - bring a grocery sack for candy!  This parade has been around 40 minutes in the past.

Kids activities, crafts for sale, businesses with tents, and other vendors will be at the Homecoming Festival.  There’s something for the whole family!

From 5-8 PM, there is a concert in the Commodore Schoolyard.

A number of Perrysburg High School Class Reunions will be this weekend too.
